I don't like them anymore...it's too big and looks like a Solara. If they were smaller, I would definitely still consider one despite the handling dynamics...
Looks like my Miata is still the answer for the moment.

Did it come with the option of having Manuél inside?
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

That is the very antithesis of everything the SC430 is and does. No, it doesn't.

They didn't make a smaller one, unless you want to clone the body on your Miata...

It really sucks...because the modded ones looked so good. They had the right angles...Face to face, the ass is just up in the air....wtf. Wheels are small too.

I think NC's are a much better looking car, but you could always experiment on a rusty, craigslist NA.

Fun fact: The Solara was supposed to be a Lexus until they changed it to a Toyota at some point in development.

I just realized I was thinking of the wrong car.
I was thinking of the SC400
Which I don't think came in stick either. But I thought I'd ask just in case, haha

And it's such a disappointment over the SC300/400. Those were such good looking coupes.

Yet there's a lot of wrong, mechanically speaking. The body is amazing, but it really need a better interior. The seats are torn, same for the carpet...and a lot more.

LS-swap to fix the mechanics? With the interior, leave the seats and tear everything else out that you don't need.

Why not L33 5.3? Aluminum and a lot different than most 5.3's, but comes in a truck so no one knows it's different. It should be cheaper than that to find one.

I don't feel like doing the fabrication. It's all an hassle in the end when you know it's gonna be gone one day for much less than all the money you pour into it.

Biggest issue imo is maintenance. On a NC miata, my best option to be able to maintain it to a dealership here, would be to put everything from a Rx8 into the NC including the engine. Apparently, it's almost plug and play. V8, I would need to be near Flyin' Miata.
Then you got the resale that takes a big hit and if you let someone else do the work and you don't know much about it, you'll never know if the guy did a bad job or not.
Most swapped cars end up on craigslist a few weeks, months later. There must be a reason.

This is also a good point, but I think most of those are probably people who assumed it was just bolt an engine in there and all the wiring will work for it.
